The Parker Duofold Limited Edition is part of the Legacy of Flight collection – a multidimensional project paying tribute to Parker’s strong ties to aviation, dating back to the 1920s. The collection comprises five of Parker’s most iconic pen lines, inviting you on a shared journey under the motto “Chart Your Course.”

The collection honors the bold spirit of early 20th-century aviation – a force that shaped Parker’s vision and history. This very spirit inspired courage and innovation in the entrepreneurial flight toward new territories and the world of Fine Writing, as well as daring promotional campaigns involving aircraft in Parker’s signature colors.

One of the earliest promotional initiatives for the Duofold pen in the 1920s was the purchase of a Fairchild FC-2W2 aircraft, whose distinctive red-and-black livery perfectly complemented the pen’s design. During a tour across the United States, Parker staged a spectacular durability demonstration – Duofold pens were dropped from 3,000 feet, proving their resilience and reinforcing the brand’s image as modern and bold. The aircraft was christened “Parker Duofold” by Amelia Earhart.
